Sweet...the guy says it will open in a month and six months go by. I ask him again and he says in 1 week. It's 5 weeks later. Predicting it now: this diner is going to suck.
The owner attempted to open without a business license and again without the proper permits. I know this because I have worked with the kitchen consultant and work in construction in/around Decatur. This owner appears to be incorrigible.

Some items out front say the plumbing was just finished on 1/18/2011...so expect that it's closer but not going to open this weekend. I don't understand why the owner LIES about when it's going to open. Ask him directly and he says "next Friday"...3 months later the plumbing is finished...
It's been open for a week now, and it's great! Great portions, nice prices, everything you would expect after waiting for a year to open the doors, lol!

Looks like condiments have recently appeared on the tables, and new neon is up in the dining room. Is this a sign?
