Decatur High Homecoming is Friday, Oct. 21, at 7:30 against Twiggs Co from Jeffersinville, GA.
The new SPLOST ,1 cent tax, is planned for the following:
Replace portions of Renfroe Middle School
Renovations for Clairemont, Oakhurst, College Heights, Decatur High School, Glennwood, Westchester and Winnona Park.
Westchester will reopen since being closed since 2004
Installation of system-wide technology and information systems
Pay off some bonds.
There will be a $1.2 million renovation of Decatur Cemetery, the oldest metro Atlanta's cemetery
A community garden will be developed
WiFi will again be installed in the city after several tries
They are considering a roundabout at Commerce/Clairemont/Church St.
About $3.5 million is allocated for improved bike trails around Decatur
